But here's what Hatton said himself: "There have been great advances in plastic surgery since the days when Henry Cooper always seemed to bleed, and I haven't been cut since I had surgery myself. This often strengthens the skin surface..."

Given that the places Mayweather said he hurt were, like, his elbow, I'm guessing it's more to do with his training regimen.

I don't even want to THINK about getting my nasal passages cauterized.Tim -- tstarks2@gmail.comhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13662992866938750556noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-671789237246190252.post-49052815528671605732007-12-01T10:29:00.000+00:002007-12-01T10:29:00.000+00:00Wow, there's a plastic surgery to lessen your chan...Wow, there's a plastic surgery to lessen your chances of being cut? How do they do that? I know that some boxers cauterize their nasal passages so they are less likely to get nosebleeds.

In the 2nd episode of 24/7 Mayweather kept talking about how his body hurt and how it takes longer to heal. This is coming from a fighter who has never really taken a beating in his life. A defensive master who has perfected the concept of hit and don't be hit. Is he just naturally more fragile then other fighters, or has Mayweather's Spartan training regimen hurt him over the years?Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
